Fantastic!

An exceptional building experience and a stunning finished result.

Most Surprising Thing

How big, heavy and detailed it is.

What Can We Do Better?

Make sure that no building blocks are missing from the set.

Fantastic Build

This was a great build, the quality is fantastic. Ok my end result has an issue with the tubes, but you have already dealt with that and parts are coming. I still have a Shell Walker that I ordered from somewhere that seemed legit sitting in a bag (yes one big bag with all of the pieces - thank you for seperating them) because it won't structurally hold itself up. Your build quality was fantastic the instructions clear and the quality of the brick is directly comparable to LEGO. Thank you

Most Surprising Thing

The end result is heavy, alot of work went into making this thing sturdy. My cat started rubbing on it halfway through and didn't break anything

What Can We Do Better?

Honestly I am happy as is.

Bigger, i said bigger !!!

Again a fantastic build. Very fun to build and a very good looking result. It has some difficult technic steps that are not for beginners. The design and build experience are awesome. This was my last build of the Creator Set, and now im sad. Because i wish it would last forever. I think im addicted to big builds now. Im eager to discover and build the next creations from EasternBrick !!!

Most Surprising Thing

It is incredible to end with a set that big with mostly small pieces.

some forbidden technics ? like inserting the red bar in the technic pins: i gave up it was too difficult.

FIRST build complete

Took a while but after 3 months with long breaks I manager to build the Thunderjaw with my 6yr old son. Great experience and family time. Build is great overall, some parts imo should get a better support (Fall off to easily during adjustments, ie: neck armor but its great for fun when playing lego horizon stories with my Son so I do not consider this a big issue :). The hardest step was 1072/1075 as the parts do not slide in easily, also the small gears in step 1059/1069 tend to stick out a bit and block the rotation of the turrets) Some parts are different color than in instruction but its just cosmetics. Can't wait for next builds!

Most Surprising Thing

Its complex but easy to build. 80% of the build was done solo by my 6yr old.

Amazing

Definitely the star of the collection, cosmetically at least. The sheer size of it draws attention to it basically anywhere you put it

Most Surprising Thing

Surprised me a bit with the height, I'll need to make a custom shelf to make it fit inside my room

What Can We Do Better?

The head is attached very poorly and falls off very easily, which happened to me two or three times during the building process

The taller, the better

Again, an amazing build !!! I've waited for my week off to build this beast, and i was not disappointed. Its not tall, its gigantic!!! I enjoyed building it (maybe too fast) and i love the result. Like the other builds, it is not an easy one. There a lot of "technic" steps, lot of pins that must be perfectly aligned, etc... Its fairly steady. I moved it from my desk to my TV stand, not had a single problem. Some junks may feel a bit weak, but im not going to play with it, so thats ok. Also some repetitive steps (of course, its symemtrical). Im now looking for a good way to light it. If you have any recommandations.

Most Surprising Thing

The size. It was a surprise until the very end, making the building experience perfect!!!

What Can We Do Better?

Some choice are questionnable. I dont really like the bending axel at the base of the neck (ok it makes it more stable, but its a big inconvenience if...

Cool looking subject but a few issues with build

This would've been 4.5 stars easy, had it not been for a few issues: 1) in step 36 v1_1 of the instructions, there is are three hinge parts that appear out of nowhere 2) I wish the shoulder balls for the two front legs were more secure. They're each on 1x2 plates and tend to separate easily

Most Surprising Thing

I like that the shoulder/elbow/hip/knee joints are super robust

What Can We Do Better?

1) See above about Step 36

A little fragile but fun build

This build took about 40 minutes overall and is a good intermediate build. I didn't notice anything inferior about the parts themselves. I got this as part of the Core kit and I'm considering cementing the leg joints into a dynamic pose so I'm actually considering getting a replacement Grazer so I can build the other Core kit sets. The steps were very clear to follow. 5/5 stars because anyone should be able to overlook the inherent fragility with the stick legs .

Very very amazing

This MOC is truly exceptional. The trunk is really movable. I’ve built this MOC before using official Lego pieces, following SerialBuilder’s original plan. That version turned out to be quite unstable, and the parts attached to the back (cylinders, rods) were extremely wobbly. In that regard, your MOC is better. However, I’d like to point out that, in your MOC, the 88-mm antennae (unlike the 120-mm ones) are too small in diameter to fit into the holes in the “binoculars.” That’s a bit frustrating. I’m currently looking for a solution to this problem. There is also the problem with the black small pieces not usable with the red cylinders ("eyes")

Most Surprising Thing

The different modules are rendered with multiples angles, which gives them a very realistic look.

What Can We Do Better?

Replace the parts mentioned above.

Amazing build with a few small Issues

The build overall wasn't too difficult to manage and looks great, though there were some small issues. Firstly alot of the instructions when attaching the side plates was quite unclear, since you can't see where it's supposed to attach on the picture, it's not hard to figure out though just annoying, and the only other issue I had with it was that two of the pieces had minor moulding errors. Though considering the size of the set I'd say that's quite good.

Most Surprising Thing

The amount of detail and the sturdiness compared to the sawtooth and grazer I've completed so far.

Thunderjaw - What a beast !

It is hard to believe that this set only has a bit more than 4700 parts. Because it is so massive !!! Its so big it can only fit on the top of my shelf. This is a very good set. The building experience was insane. Im sad it is already over. Of course it is a bit repetitive, because of the symetry of the set, but i enjoyed every bag of it: the body, the cannons, the launchers, the tail. Thanks also for the support, im not going to try to balance it myself, the supprot does the job very well. This is not a set for beginners, there are some tricky connections.

Good build experience !

Serial Builder have done a very good job. Very accurate MOC. Your packaging is outstanding . Your solution for stiffness in the forelimbs is very useful. Nevertheless, keeping the model in place remains a challenge. I think to build a basis for this.

Despite the model's size, there are many details.

This has honestly been the best build I have built to date. I have built a number of large on brand sets (Star Wars, LOTR, Jurassic Park, Icons) and this was so much more enjoyable to build and so much sturdier. Abso-freakin-lutely Fantastic Design

First of All, what an Amazing job on this set and holey moly. It's gigantic; larger than I expected and it barely fits on the shelf. It took me about 35h to complete and I loved every second of it. The attention to detail was truly amazing, but even more surprising was how robust the final build ended up being. With most Lego Sets of that Magnitude (Hulk buster, Star Destroyer,...) the build is usually flimsy and easily breakable. The only thing I wasn't happy with, was the armor plating. It was difficult to connect and some parts easily fall off when trying to move the tail.

As the name THUDERJAW says Jawdropping

This beeing my first big build of the 3 I didn't know what I was getting my self into. Each day after work I had time for 1 or 2 beg nummers so it took me nearly a full week of building. Overall Look: - bigger then you first tink - no color poisining like Lego - clean look everything same colors (no 2 difrent whites for example) Build experience: Amazing experience first building the skeleton then attaching new and new components to it with each step was very cool. Most impressiv was the ammo chain for the mini/gattling guns on the head. With Lego you would never experience such a free moving step. My thoughts: Not getting to build it in one sitting is a better experience, the joy of comming home from a stressfull day and just relaxed building is amazing (there were steps more stressfull then a full work day but who cares ;)) Negative aspect: Unfortunaly there were some pices missing, some I could just use from the spares from steps before but also one piece miss molded. It can happen was a bit sad but as a first run and over thousends of bricks it's accaptable. This is a work in progress I would say we of the first run trying to help improve the experience for everyone. 4,5/5 Stars because pieces were missing or one miss moulded and some steps were a bit misleading because you couldn't clearly see how to put together the pieces In the pictures you can see how you progress through the build

The Big Boy

This is my third build of the Complete Set, having started with the Grazer and the Sawtooth… and my goodness this one sets a new standard. This build is a beast! It definitely poses a challenge in a few spots, but it is absolutely worth the effort and so much fun to assemble. I’m actually kind of sad he’s done. There are some challenging parts, which I’ll go into in the “what can we do better” section, but honestly the final product is so worth it. A word of advice though: take your time, and check the instructions carefully. With such a big and complex build, it can be easy to misread instructions if you rush, but I promise you the instructions do actually show you exactly what you need to do. Just take your time. I’m honestly shocked by the creativity of engineering that went into this design. It’s unreal. And despite the nature of the build, it is actually way more stable and sturdy than I expected! Overall, so thoroughly impressed, and so glad I got the Complete Set. Cannot wait to see what the Thunderjaw has in store for me next :)

Now the fun begins. The second most accessible set of the Complete Edition (around 1100 pieces). I can confirm it is not for beginners. Grazer - First Step

I started building this set as soon as i received the Complete Edition. It was worth the wait. Lets make it clear: the pieces are of very good quality. There are very comparable to Lego. They are not a random copy with low plastic quality. They dont smell, they dont feel weird. Now the build. Even though this build seems to be the most accessible build (being less than 200 pieces), it sends the clear message that all the builds will not be for beginners. It is fun to build it, i enjoy the final result, but it needs some skills to build it peacefully (i will clarify that in the next review, of the Sawtooth). In the end its a good first build to discover the Complete edition.

Amazing Detail and Look

First of All, this was absolute great fun! It took me about a day and was pretty straight forward. There are some points for improvement, however, I am not really criticizing. These points are more for your data collection purposes, if you will. So with this build I have noticed a couple of times, that it is not LEGO: -there are some pieces that, even though the shape is very similar, there are some 0.1 mm indentations. - The color tones of the yellow, red and blue are not the same as LEGO standard colors. I assume that this is due to LEGO copywriting the colors and certain bricks. Unfortunately, I noticed that the yellow 3 stud flat beam had much weaker grip that the black ones for example. My guess as engineer, the additives to produce the yellow change the composition of the brick, which leads to slightly weaker strength and deformation. - Pieces with two planes at a right angle have some lines, as if glued together, and as if a slight manufacturing irregularities (see images), but it might also be by design to avoid copyright infringement. Again not a problem, I just noticed as I intended to pay attention to details during building so I could share with you and help in any way. This is all for the pieces. In general they were great and it gave me the same LEGO feel as always. Now there are some instances of the instructions being not clear: - sometimes the image would not clearly show where a piece would go and only from the next step image it would become obvious, due to different viewing angles. - Once, I noticed a step were some piece isn't actively shown to be added, but then in the mirrored step it actually is. As if someone noticed and corrected it in the review. But missed it in the previous instance (I wish I had taken a screenshot at the time, but I was so immersed and forgot, but I promise to do so next time). -The black round flat single stud piece comes in two variants: hollow in the middle and fully closed. From the instruction images it is not always clear which is to be used. I made the mistake of mixing them up and ended up with one short for inserting the antenna piece. This is frustrating, as it only leaves the options to go and take everything apart while being 99% done, or to use a different piece/do without. I understand that this is in part my mistake, but when dealing with this many different pieces all at once, it's easy to loose overview. So I would hope for either a reminder that these two pieces are different and not interchangable or, if it could be more distinguishable. Enough of negative feedback. This was an absolutely amazing build. It looks so good and accurate. The level of detail is insane. The fact that the eyes are multiple lenses and not a simplified single one had me loosing my mind. During the build I realized what a great source material Horizon is for LEGO/EB and that you guys chose a perfect theme for your first project. But also that you did an amazing job at implementing it.

Most Surprising Thing

The detail and accuracy

What Can We Do Better?

Some steps are not clear. I will share exampled next time

Fun and easy build experience

It is nice to build this creature, fairly easy to do and not too long for a first build. One thing i could say is that the parts we already build disconnect easily when we try to add other ones. So it's a bit fragile, even when it's completed and we try to move the legs. Speaking of the legs, i love the fonctionnality they have, we can adapt the position of the deer as much as we want.

Amazing !

Incredible build ! The finished model is really stunning and ridiculously huge. It took me several hours to put it together, spread out over a few days. The building is little bit repetitive tough, as you often have to build two of the same structure, or just a mirrored version. It doesn't really bother me, it's just that the sections you have to repeat are usually quite big. Anyway, I'm really happy ! (But man, my fingers hurt...)

Most Surprising Thing

The final model is a little bit wobbly, but the overall structure feel very strong. I'm confident enough to move it without destroying everything.

What Can We Do Better?

The step #244 really was a problem for me. I tried to put the technic axle 7L in place, but it was bending so much that I couldn't keep it like this. ...

A very good surprise after a long wait !

I finally received the complete edition today. It was a complete surprise, as DHL hadn't updated the tracking information for months. And let me tell you, it's amazing! I couldn't wait any longer and I started building the Grazer already. But here is my review for the pack. 1 - The package The box is massive! It arrived in very good condition, well sealed. As mentioned on the blog, the packaging is a bit light. Actually i would say it lacks of branding. It should feel like we purchase a rare limited item. The absolute best would have been to get a unique serial number. 2 - The brick bags Its a ton of plastic, but at least, the bricks are sorted in smaller bags. Its better like that than having to sort them for hours before starting building. The bags are well numbered, we cant get lost. 3 - The bricks These are very good quality bricks. It could fool a Lego beginner for the most common pieces. I tried some Lego alternatives, and this is the closest i got to real Lego bricks. Amazing! Conclusion: I give 4 stars now, i could upgrade to 5 after completing all the builds.

Most Surprising Thing

The very good quality of the bricks.

What Can We Do Better?

Overall very good build

I rated it as good as LEGO, since it is. It feels and handles just like it (mabe the smell was slightly different or it might be from packaging), but since it is as good but more affordable, I guess this fact makes it better than!?! It was a fun and cute build with way more attention to detail and complexity than expected. It is not beginner friendly, as there are a lot of delicate and moving parts. This make it difficult to even the two sides (front and back legs as well as horns) and can lead to parts pooping off accidentally (specially when you have fat lil fingers as I do 🤫). Even though it is detailed with many delicate and lovable parts. It feels surprisingly sturdy, with exception of the head-neck connection. Since it is only a single stud connection it easily breaks off when trying to adjust the movable parts.

Most Surprising Thing

A lot of detail. A lot sturdier than expected

It was a really fun build. Some parts feel a bit wonky, like the front legs, they are a bit loose so it falls down easily and the side plates on the neck are not so tight, that a slight bump can make them fall off. BUT... all in all AMAZING BUILD ! ! ! !

Mom’s spaghetti

This is the second build of the Creator Set for me (started with the Grazer and working my way up to the Tallneck to make sure my doctor earns his paycheck for managing my arthritis). This was a thoroughly enjoyable build, and the final product looks absolutely incredible, but I will say this one takes some patience and delicate hands. The overall build is stunning. The design is aesthetically incredible, and absolutely gives the imposing impression of the Sawtooth from the games. It’s also a bit larger than I expected which was a very nice surprise. There are however, two things you should know before you start, and I’m sure you’ll read it in other reviews as well but I wanted to stress that it is still possible with some patience and perseverance! 1. The dang shoulder plates. These things look incredible, but they are very delicate. They are held in by only three studs connecting to the main body, and the limbs can sometimes bump them when posing which knocks the plates off completely. They can then be a bit of a menace to put back into position, but just take your time and don’t lose patience. It is absolutely achievable, though this to me is one thing that would be nice to maybe reinforce if the instructions/pieces end up getting reviewed. Otherwise, when you’re handling this bad boy, treat him like you’re holding a beaker full of ebola. Go nice and slow, and watch where you’re grabbing. 2. Mom’s spaghetti. His knees are weak, arms are heavy. Seriously though, the knee joint on the forelegs doesn’t quite have the tensile strength to hold his bulky weight, most of which is in the shoulders/torso. Please, please, please, read the update on the Substack. It gives a great suggestion to help this, which is to basically insert a small piece like the tooth or wrench piece into the joint to give it some extra tension. It’s not a perfect solution, but it definitely helps. I also found that straightening the legs a bit changes the direction of the forces and he tolerates that a bit better. Which is nice, because it makes him stand tall and proud and looks… exquisite, yes. These are the only two things that bring this down from a 5 star review, but it is still an amazing build. Another absolute stunner and another solid win for this set. Seriously impressed! On to the Tremortusk next… wish me luck.

Most Surprising Thing

Amazing model, but with weaknesses

Had a great time building this and found it both engaging and at times challenging! There are two side panels on each side of the Sawtooth's neck that came off more times than I can count, which was quite frustrating. But the biggest issue - and something others have already mentioned - is the instability of the front joints. In the end I had to keep them positioned fairly straight underneath the body so they wouldn't keep buckling (which in turn kept popping off the side panels, a vicious cycle). Solutions for being able to lock the joints after posing or replacing them with parts that are more weight-bearing would greatly improve this build, so something to keep in mind for future/replacement runs!

Most Surprising Thing

The many ways the model can be posed - though this is currently curtailed by the instability of the front joints

What Can We Do Better?

Good quality but very fragile

I enjoyed the building process and the sawtooth looks amazing! But I did run into issues while trying to display it. Even just standing normally it would always slide and fall. When I did manage to get it to stand, the slightest bump to my shelf would make it collapse. (My house is old and unstable, so just walking near the shelf makes it wobble slightly). At one point I went to pick it back up and it completely fell apart into 4 pieces (hard to see in photo but the front legs/shoulders were detached as well). I eventually decided I'd just super glue the whole build because the leg joints were so weak and trying to manipulate it made everything else fall apart. After this extra stability I was able to make a more dynamic pose to go along with my Aloy figure as shown. I didnt want to rate this 3 star because i know it's a first release and you're still working things out. But maybe the other builds I have completed inflated my expectations a bit, so I'm giving a four star.

Most Surprising Thing

As always, detail. These blow regular lego way out of the water!

Incredible Build!

Not sure if anyone else has powered through them all yet but just finished the big 3 and I have to say... what an incredible experience. Firm believer that nothing is perfect and this set isn't but the value, quality, and experience are second to nothing i have personally experienced. Exactly what I could've wished for form this set, and for it being a first run am blown away how well everything came together. I'd have to give a 95/100. The Bad: As mentioned in the updates some of the plastic flexible tubes/hoses are a bit problematic. one size didn't fit at all (let them know and they said are already working on solution) in addition to the issues spoken to in the substack already. Actually amazed with the high part count the quality control is impressive but not perfect. Hesitate to even put this in the bad cause it should be praised more than anything but there was a missing piece for the tallneck but honestly, of 21000 pieces having one somewhat significant piece be missing is amazing (seen worse quality control from LEGO directly). Some of the design elements do feel a bit flimsy or not as well attached as they should be. the foundational structures are rock solid but a lot of the shell/outer armor of the models are only connected with 2 or 3 studs and can very easily pop off but once the sets are placed I'm not moving them any time soon so not a huge deal for me. There were a couple sections in the instructions where the pieces that are being shown to be added don't line up with the main part you're attaching it to (specifically remember from the tremortusk set). Not as if its showing the incorrect placement but like the part is shown to clip through the main assembly and not attached through anything but the actual placements are relatively simple to figure out, just had me scratching my head a couple times. The Great: The way the pieces were separated out per section and bags was genius. Thought it was overwhelming how many bags were a part of each section at first but really appreciated how well thought out it was with mirrored pieces in different bags so I don't feel crazy reaching for the same piece over and over grabbing the wrong side version, just look in the next bowl. Detail of the sets is incredible. Build experience and thoughtfulness of the instructions was a very pleasant surprise I expected far worse but it was very clear and understandable for how complex the models are. After having tunnel vision on each set for days on end being able to step back and see the monster come to life is truly breathtaking. By far and away the most incredible set, collection, build, and project I've taken on in this Realm and absolutely adored it. some parts of the builds were a struggle (my fault) but that just made it all the most satisfying to complete. I can't say enough great things about this build. My fingers might need a break after finishing everything.

Most Surprising Thing

The scale and size of the build was truly incredible. needing to look up from where I'm sitting to put pieces on the tallneck was wild, never had that...

Amazing detail!

This build has a very impressive level of detail to the machine from the Zero Dawn game, and it makes me super excited to start working on the rest! The quality of the bricks was better than I expected, and some of them held together much better than their Lego counterparts. The main thing with the Sawtooth though, is that there is a LOT of weight on the front end, and the elbow joints are too weak to support it. I reached out to support to see if they had any tips and they were very quick (within 24 hours!) with a suggested pose, which fixed that issue for me! :)
