Our thoughts on the design
The Tremortusk is SerialBuilder's most recent design of all the beasts in the Creator Set and it really shows how far he has come as a LEGO designer. Featuring a few firsts in his builds, the Tremortusk comes with a diorama base and articulating Shock Cannons which were a was surprise. The techniques used are more advanced, the sturdiness of the appendages and panels is top-notch and as always, the stance is very accurate, along with all the details of the build. You may need an extra pair of hands to help you with attaching the beast to the base, but it's worth it.

Fixes we've made
Improved the stability of the build
The original design, whilst featuring a solid overall build structure, had a critical weak-point at the feet. This meant that moving the build around could result in one or a few of the feet unseating from the base, causing the heavy beast to come crashing down. Great in-game, not so much IRL. We fixed this by securing the feet further into the base.

Would build again!
This was a very fun build, I love that it has a diorama base! The articulation is wonderful, I am so impressed!
Most Surprising Thing
Realizing that we were putting tiny guns that can actually fire into the turrets.
What Can We Do Better?
The mini guns in the turrets could use a little more head room inside. Each time I tired to close it the gun would pop off and then rattle inside, so ...
The Big Boy
This is my third build of the Complete Set, having started with the Grazer and the Sawtooth… and my goodness this one sets a new standard. This build is a beast! It definitely poses a challenge in a few spots, but it is absolutely worth the effort and so much fun to assemble. I’m actually kind of sad he’s done. There are some challenging parts, which I’ll go into in the “what can we do better” section, but honestly the final product is so worth it. A word of advice though: take your time, and check the instructions carefully. With such a big and complex build, it can be easy to misread instructions if you rush, but I promise you the instructions do actually show you exactly what you need to do. Just take your time. I’m honestly shocked by the creativity of engineering that went into this design. It’s unreal. And despite the nature of the build, it is actually way more stable and sturdy than I expected! Overall, so thoroughly impressed, and so glad I got the Complete Set. Cannot wait to see what the Thunderjaw has in store for me next :)

You hit the nail on the head.
I finished the Tremortusk as my second build, and here too I really like both the look and the stability, which is perfectly suited to a model that is primarily meant for display.

Tremortusk
Oh boy was this one rough, over all I had fun building it, two weeks and five days and a lot of frustration. Between parts falling off or with how touchy other parts where or when i had to use a literal hammer to put some of the parts together.. over all though a good build and I had fun
Most Surprising Thing
the movement of the parts, especially the guns on his sides, like you guys didn't even have to include that but you did and its amazing.
