Run #02The Tallneck is SerialBuilder's most well-known build as it recreates the most iconic machine from the Horizon series in stunning detail. Standing at 94cm tall, this model captures the majesty and scale of the Tallneck with sophisticated building techniques and accurate texturing. A real showpiece.

Detailed Head Disc
The most recognisable feature of the Tallneck is intricately designed and securely held up by the just-as-detailed neck.

Technic Re-enforced Skeleton
Standing at 94cm tall requires serious structural integrity. A Technic skeleton provides all the support needed to confidently prop up the beast to prevent it from crashing into a pile of bricks in-case of knocks from a specific friend of the furry kind.

Integrated Display Base
The model sits securely on a clean display base that provides the stability for the build, but also elevates it to a model worthy of becoming the centrepiece of your collection.

Our thoughts on the design
The Tallneck is undoubtedly the most impressive of SerialBuilder's designs as it's just humongous! What's most impressive about it is its accuracy and how well the stance has been captured. The build is solid, and will stand up well against time. There are a few connections for the armour plating that could do with an extra stud, but since it's a display piece and not a play model, it doesn't matter too much. This build is a must-have if you're collecting the series - there's nothing quite like it.

Fixes we've made
Reinforced neck structure
The original build suffered from the neck leaning back over time ultimately affecting the overall pose. The neck section of the skeleton has been updated to ensure that the Tallneck keeps its iconic pose for years to come.
Severity: High
Toe subassembly connections improved
The way the toes are attached to the build, whilst being very clever, was able to be knocked out of position easily if not handled carefully. We replaced the connections points to be much stronger and now the toes will not pop-off so easily.
Severity: Low

Amazing
Several months later after receiving the shipment notification, to receival about 2 weeks ago, the Tallneck is finished! The build is amazing and I am beyond amazed by the quality of the bricks. Throughout the whole build it's super fun and not at one single point tedious or repetitive. Why can't lego design builds like this? I can't wait to build the others! For some reason I ended up with way more extra parts for this one.
Most Surprising Thing
The quality and fun. The way the instruction flow is designed is superior to Foremost, the quality and stability of this things! Yes it wobbles but wh...
What Can We Do Better?
I am not sure whether the bags I had left are of another set but I have some odd pieces leftover, and a whole bag (Tall-00 ?) too. Which is not neces...
Amazing !
Incredible build ! The finished model is really stunning and ridiculously huge. It took me several hours to put it together, spread out over a few days. The building is little bit repetitive tough, as you often have to build two of the same structure, or just a mirrored version. It doesn't really bother me, it's just that the sections you have to repeat are usually quite big. Anyway, I'm really happy ! (But man, my fingers hurt...)
Most Surprising Thing
The final model is a little bit wobbly, but the overall structure feel very strong. I'm confident enough to move it without destroying everything.
What Can We Do Better?
The step #244 really was a problem for me. I tried to put the technic axle 7L in place, but it was bending so much that I couldn't keep it like this. ...
Giants Walk Among Us
This build by far has been my favorite to finish. I've been wanting to build this beauty since I first discovered SerialBuilder, about 3 years ago. To finally see it complete is very satisfying, but also kinda sad it's done.
Most Surprising Thing
Very happy with the sturdiness of it and also very terrifying to move it into place.
Tallneck
i enjoyed this build very much even if it took me two weeks and two days to finish (because IRL stuff) there where a few lego pieces missing from the bags but that could of been my cats stealing parts but otherwise a very good build.
