Shipping Policy – EasternBrick

Thank you for supporting EasternBrick. Please read our Shipping Policy carefully before placing your pre-order. By placing a pre-order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
Pre-order & Payment Terms
- Card on file (no charge today): When you place a pre-order, we securely save your card using Stripe. You won’t be charged at this time.
- Single charge later: We’ll notify you by email before shipping and charge the saved card once for the full amount. You can update your payment details any time before we charge.
- Payment window: After notice, you’ll have a set timeframe (usually 3 working days) to ensure your payment method is up to date. If we’re unable to collect payment within that window, your pre-order may be canceled.
Address Confirmation
- Before shipment, you will be required to confirm your shipping address via email or through your account on our website.
- Orders cannot be shipped without a confirmed address.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that your shipping information is accurate and up to date. EasternBrick is not responsible for lost or delayed shipments due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
Shipping Timeline
- Campaign-Based Shipping: Orders will only begin shipping after the pre-order campaign has closed, production is completed, and payments have been finalized.
- Estimated Shipping Date: An estimated shipping window will be provided at the time of pre-order. Please note that all shipping dates are estimates and may be subject to change due to manufacturing, logistics, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Shipping Method: Orders will typically ship via sea freight and will be handed over to a local last-mile distributor for final delivery.
- Tracking Information: You will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
Shipping, duties & taxes
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout (or before final payment is collected). We ship worldwide and work to make delivery as smooth as possible. Below we explain how duties, taxes, and import fees are handled depending on the destination.
Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)
For countries we ship on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis, all import duties and taxes are included in your checkout price. That means:
- All duties and taxes are prepaid and included in the price you pay at checkout.
- No additional customs fees will be collected from you on delivery.
- Delivery should feel like a local shipment — no extra collection on arrival.
DDP countries: United Arab Emirates, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, China, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Greece, Hong Kong SAR China, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Singapore, Slovenia, Slovakia, Thailand, Taiwan, United States, South Africa.
Delivered At Place (DAP)
For all other destinations we ship on a Delivered At Place (DAP) basis. This means import duties, taxes, and fees may be charged by your local customs authority when the shipment arrives and are not included in the checkout total. Important points:
- Import duties and local taxes may be charged by customs upon delivery.
- These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the price shown at checkout.
- Customs policies vary by country; we recommend checking with local authorities if you're unsure about likely charges.
Tariffs & government regulations
International trade regulations and tariff schedules can change without notice. While we do our best to keep prices and shipping information accurate, new tariffs or fees imposed after an order is placed may be charged by carriers or customs when the goods arrive. These charges are outside of our control and remain the responsibility of the recipient.
Refused deliveries
If you refuse to pay duties or taxes on a DAP shipment and the package is returned to us, we will deduct the original shipping cost and any return fees from your refund.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations During Campaign: You may cancel your pre-order at any time during the campaign period. Since we don’t charge upfront, no refund is necessary.
- After Campaign Closure: Once the campaign closes and production begins, cancellations are no longer possible.
- Refund Policy After Shipment: We are unable to offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once your product has shipped, except where required by law.
- Damaged or Defective Items: If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will review your case and, if applicable, provide a replacement or appropriate remedy.
Responsibility & Liability
- EasternBrick is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs clearance, or events outside of our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, or pandemics).
